(Beaver Dam) The Dodge County Land and Water Conversation Department has funds available for cost sharing various soil and water conversation practices in 2024.
Grass waterways, diversions, critical area stabilization, manure storage abandonment, and rural well abandonment are some of the most common practices being installed. Soil health practices such as cover crops and less tillage may also be cost shared.
These practices are helpful to producers making improvements to control runoff. Reduced runoff improves both surface and groundwater quality benefitting everyone. More information about the project can be found by calling the Dodge County Land and Water Conversation Department at (920) 386-3660.
