(Juneau) The Dodge County Highway Department is seeking input from county residents on future project planning. An online survey is available for citizens to provide feedback on funding options for increased paving of county highways. Dodge County Highway Commissioner Brian Field says there are 540 miles in the county’s highway system which is the second largest in the state of Wisconsin. He says the survey will assist his departments to properly prepare for the 2021 and 2022 construction season. Survey results are scheduled to be reviewed by the Highway Committee in September. Field says the results and project recommendations will be presented to the Dodge County Finance Committee and County Board for consideration in the 2021 budget. The short survey is located on the Dodge County website and will be available until September 1st.
