(Dodge County) Wisconsin health officials are reporting an increase of 333 cases of COVID-19 in Thursday’s daily update. The seven-day average is 291 daily infections. There are 21,926 people now having tested positive. Three-point-six-percent (3.6%) of the nearly 9,000 tests administered came back positive Thursday, compared to 2.8-percent Wednesday and 1.9-percent Tuesday. State health officials are reporting 11 more deaths bringing that number to 682. Deaths accounted for three-percent of all cases in Wisconsin while 14-percent of those known to have contracted the virus needed to be hospitalized. Dodge County has four deaths and 414 cases, an increase of four from Wednesday. The county had 235 negative tests returned for a running total of 6,853. Public health officials in Dodge County are actively monitoring 30 people while 155 have recovered. Jefferson County has four deaths and 142 cases. Washington County has ten deaths and 287 positive tests. Fond du Lac County has six deaths on record and 251 positive tests to date. There has been one death in Columbia County and 50 positive cases. Green Lake County has 23 cases.
