(Juneau) Over 9,350 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Dodge County through Sunday. That according to the Dodge County Health’s weekly update which says their department alone administered 826 doses of the vaccine in the month of January. They say starting this week, all Wisconsin National Guard supported testing sites will be able to test children 12 months or older. This includes the testing site in Beaver Dam located on 1701 North Spring Street. County health officials say in order to ensure everyone remains safe, National Guard members will make a reasonable attempt to test the child but will not perform or complete the specimen collection if there is risk of injury or extreme discomfort for both parties. The Beaver Dam testing site will be closed on Monday (February 15th) for President’s Day.
