Dodge County Health Confirms One COVID Death Wednesday

(Dodge County) Dodge County health officials confirmed one COVID death Wednesday. That brings the total death count to 277 with 242 confirmed and 35 probable deaths. Health officials recorded 122 new cases yesterday with six additional hospitalizations. Active community cases stand at 479, a decrease of 29 from yesterday. The seven day daily-average of new cases per 100-thousand people is 66.3. Twenty-five cases and above is what health officials classify as the “tipping point.” All of Wisconsin is either in very high or critically high COVID activity level, according to the state health department. Dodge County remains in the critically high category. So far, 50.8-percent of the county has received at least one dose of the vaccine while 48-percent have completed the vaccination series.
