(Beaver Dam) While an official decision on the Dodge County Fair has not been made, the county fairgrounds will welcome visitors for the Flea Market Saturday. Organizers are still discussing whether holding the fair this year is feasible with concerns over COVID-19, however they say this Saturday’s flea market will go on with a different look. Officials say they are working together quickly to pull together a safe and enjoyable event for both vendors and attendees. They say they are following suggested guidelines and precautions, as they create a safe, orderly and socially-distanced shopping format. Visitors will be allowed to browse vendor booths both indoors and outdoors and are suggested to wear face coverings to protect themselves and others. Organizers say shoppers and vendors are encouraged to stay home if they feel ill and frequent handwashing and hand sanitization will be encouraged. Vendor booths and surfaces will also be disinfected regularly. Saturday’s flea market will be held rain or shine and will feature handmade crafts, woodworking, vintage findings and unique items from home-based businesses. The craft fair will open at 8am and conclude at 2pm. Admission and parking is free.
