Dodge County Fair Day Three: Lanco, Kids Tractor Pull, Cream Puffs

(Beaver Dam) The 24thAnnual Celebrity Cream Puff Eating Contest is on-tap for today at the Dodge County Fair. Four-H leaders from around Dodge County will be squaring off for the “Three-H and One-C” trophy as in “Head, Heart, Health and Cream Puffs,” there are no “Hands” allowed in the competition.

Elected officials from Dodge County to Madison will be competing for the “Excellence In Pastry Consumption” trophy.

Other participants today include the sheriff, the district attorney along with folks from the Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre, the Beaver Dam Area Orchestra and the Beaver Dam Chamber of Commerce’s Citizen and Business of the Year.

Capping things off will be the Dodge-Jefferson Honey Bee Queen and a half-dozen Fairests of the Fair from the past decade up to and including 2019 Fairest Kennedy Ferron.

The Celebrity Cream Puff Eating Contest is held on the Radio Park Stage and broadcast live from 5pm to 6pm during the Barn Show on AM1430 and streamed in audio and video at DailyDodge.com.

Also today, in the morning, Junior Fair Poultry Judging, Junior Fair Dairy Showmanship and the Junior Britches Showmanship Contest. The Kids Pedal Tractor Pull starts at 11:30am in front of the grandstand. At Radio Park this afternoon there will be 4-H Youth Music Vocal and Instrumental Judging.

On the Grandstand Stage at 8pm, it’s country music from Lanco followed by the FM Rodeo at Radio Park.
