(Horicon) Wednesday is the deadline for area youth to register for an upcoming camp. The University of Wisconsin Extension Dodge County is hosting its first Sparks Camp at Discher Park in Horicon, open to all kids between 5-K and third grade.
The camp will feature a range of activities around multiple interests such as cooking, art, gross motor, and self-defense. All program activities, lunch and a camp T-shirt are included in the $20 program cost. Extension officials ask that all campers have transportation to and from the park, bring tennis shoes, apply sunscreen before arriving, and bring a white t-shirt for a tie dye activity.
Camp will take place rain or shine. It hell be held on August 2nd from 9am to 2:30pm. To sign up, submit a registration form, a health form, and payment of $20 per camper to Dodge County UW-Extension at 127 East Oak Street in Juneau by July 27th. Make checks payable to “Dodge County 4-H Leaders Association.” The registration fee is non-refundable.
Forms can be accessed at https://dodge.extension.wisc.edu/. Select “Camps” under the “4-H Youth Development” tab, and then print off and complete the “Sparks Camp and Info” (also found on the brochure) as well as the “Youth Event Health Form.”
