(Beaver Dam) Dodge County Sheriff’s deputies handled three drunk driving incidents in less than 90 minutes. It started just before midnight Tuesday when two people were cited in one car for Operating While Intoxicated. The vehicle was speeding on Highway 33 near County P in the Town of Rubicon when authorities initiated a traffic stop. Deputies observed the driver and a passenger switch seats after stopping. A 33-year-old Jackson man was cited for second offense OWI while a 26-year-old Jackson man earned his first OWI.
Twenty minutes after that call, deputies responded to reports of a white work van driving northbound in the southbound lanes of Highway 151. The driver was pulled over near Breezy Point Road in the Town of Trenton and cited for first offense OWI.
An hour later, deputies received a report of a woman taking two months’ worth of a prescription medication and drinking five beers before hopping in her car. She was arrested for OWI after being located in Mayville.
