Dodge County Dairy Talk Meeting Scheduled

(Juneau) The first Dodge Dairy Talk Meeting of 2020 has been scheduled for Tuesday January 28th.  Held at the Trenton Town Hall in Fox Lake, the UW Madison Division of Extension Dodge County is welcoming area dairy producers and service providers to attend.  The theme for this meeting is Youngstock and features speakers Dr. Jennifer Van Os from the UW Madison Department of Dairy Science, who will speak about raising calves in groups for growth performance, animal welfare, and consumer acceptance.  Dr Noah Litherland Youngstock Specialist from Vita Plus Dairy will present his talk, how do your calves measure up, using numbers you already collect to determine if your heifers are starting strong.  The Dodge Dairy Talk meeting will be held on Tuesday January 28th from 1 to 3pm.  To pre-register for the meeting or get more information about the Dodge Dairy Talk Meetings, contact Amanda Young at the Dodge County Extension office at 920-386-3790.
