Dodge County Board Fills Opening On Executive Committee

(Juneau) The Dodge County Board Tuesday night filled an opening on one of its key committees. David Beal was elected by his fellow supervisors to sit on the Executive Committee which facilities decision-making and organizational direction between county board meetings. Before the vote, Beal made his pitch to the board.

“Currently, I’m the police chief in the city of Juneau…on the Dodgeland School Board since 2007…served as the school board president,” says Beal. “[I] sit on the Personnel Committee, previously was on the Building Committee. Worked with government from villages to townships. Come here with an open mind and look forward to being part of the exec committee.”

Supervisors David Guckenberger and Paul Conway were also nominated but came up short in the vote. The vacancy was created when Supervisor Dan Hilbert announced in December that he was leaving his District 29 seat.
