(Juneau) The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says they have seen an uptick in storage unit thefts. Sheriff’s officials say the crimes have occurred at multiple locations throughout the county.
They say if you are renting a unit, they ask the public to check on it and make sure it is secure. Anyone who notices a suspicious person or activity is encouraged to report it to the sheriff’s office.
Law enforcement also recommends installing a trail camera or other monitoring devices inside your storage unit, facing the door to monitor all activity.
