(Beaver Dam) The Dodge County Center For The Arts is moving into their new home. The non-profit has gone through a rebranding process over the past several months. For 52 years, the organization had been called the Beaver Dam Area Arts Association and was located at the Seippel Homestead on North Spring Street in Beaver Dam. As of Friday (3/22), they are officially taking possession of the former Bank Mutual building at Maple Avenue and North Center Street.
Board Secretary Kraig Kasten says it has been quite a transition getting to the new center. Kasten says they are no longer bouncing around, they have a new home that will allow them to bring art of any medium to a variety of age groups.
Board member Chris Frinak is encouraging the public to their open house next week to see the group’s new home. Frinak is hoping the new facility will attract new people to the organization, specifically younger people who will identify what they want to see in an art experience.
The Dodge County Center For The Arts Annual Meeting and Open House will be held Tuesday, March 26 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
