District Attorney Raising Ware Competency Issue

11/8/17 – The Dodge County District Attorney is questioning the competency of Fox Lake murder suspect Laverne Ware Jr. The 37-year-old is representing himself against charges of First Degree Intentional Homicide, Hiding a Corpse, Incest and Possession of a Firearm By A Convicted Felon. DA Kurt Klomberg yesterday filed notice of the state’s intent to raise competence issues. Ware is accused of murdering his girlfriend and first cousin, Sesalie Dixon, last December. The 27-year-old was found in the cab of Ware’s pick-up truck inside a Fox Lake garage with a gunshot wound to the head. A motion hearing is on the calendar on November 20 and two-week jury is currently scheduled to begin April 9.
