Diane J. Williamson, 62, of Columbus passed away peacefully on Friday, March 2, 2018 at UW Hospital in Madison with her husband by her side.
Diane was born on May 15, 1955 the daughter of Lester H. and Phyllis M. (Brueckner) Nehmer in Columbus. On April 20, 1980, she was united in marriage to Daniel A. Williamson in Brooksville, FL.
Diane had been a baker and cake decorator for over 34 years. She was employed at Lake Mills Market as the Deli Manager since 2007. She was a member of the Queen Esther Chapter #4 Order of the Eastern Star in Lodi. Diane was named Worthy Grand Matron for the Order of the Eastern Star in 2000-2001.
Diane will be deeply missed and is survived by her husband Daniel Williamson of Columbus; her brother Jim (Helen) Nehmer of Columbus and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lester and Phyllis Nehmer and her brother Howard R. Nehmer.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Koepsell-Zeidler Funeral Home in Columbus with an Eastern Star Service to begin at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
