DCSO: Increased Reports Of Littering In The Town Of Hubbard

(Juneau) There has been an increase of littering and the dumping of household goods along a number of roads in the town of Hubbard. Sheriff’s officials says town residents have noticed an issue with the dumping of mattresses, animal carcasses, and other garbage into ditches and on private property.

The littering has been reported in the areas of Strange Road, Horseshoe Road, and Gray Road. Sheriff’s deputies will be patrolling those areas more frequently and will be issuing citations to violators. Authorities ask citizens to be mindful that this type of offense ultimately costs the taxpayers money when a municipality has to clean up and pay for disposal of the items.

They say if anyone has information to contact the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency number at 920-386-3726.
