DCSO Holding An Open House Friday

(Juneau) The public will have an opportunity to get an inside look at the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Friday. An open house is scheduled from 2pm to 6pm.

The agency will be providing tours of the facility along with a walkthrough of the jail. There will be presentations made by members of the SWAT Team, the Crash Investigation Team, and the Recreation Patrol on their duties and responsibilities. Visitors can see inside of a squad car and learn about the lights, sirens, and other equipment the sheriff’s office uses.

Staff will also be on hand to provide information about the Sheriff’s Citizen Academy curriculum and when registration for the next session will begin. Two of the office’s chaplains will be available to talk about the services they provide to law enforcement.

Child ID’s can be picked up at no charge. The sheriff’s office will have the “Back the Badge” signs for purchase at $10 each which raises money for new gear, uniforms, and competition fees for the Dodge County Cadets.

Those interested in becoming an employee at the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office can talk with recruitment teams who will be onsite for the open house.
