(Juneau) A couple members of the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office attended the annual Police Lights of Christmas in Green Bay. The program collects donations which helps them purchase gift cars and supplies for those in need.
Deputy’s Martin Keberlein and Dale Bratz were part of 73 other officers from 55 departments across the state that got together and assembled 1,000 backpacks and handed out $165-thousand-dollars in gift cards. The backpacks are stocked with winter gloves, toiletries, socks, and a winter hat.
Deputies keep the backpacks on hand and hand them out to people who need them during the winter months.
