DCSO Announces Deputies That Will Patrol Reeseville Area

(Reeseville) The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office has selected two of their deputies to represent the department as its primary law enforcement presence in Reeseville. The agency began policing the area at the beginning of the year after village leaders reached out last spring to discuss contracting services.

Deputy Michael Matoushek is a 19-year veteran with the sheriff’s office and previously served as their rec patrol deputy. Matoushek is one of the department’s child safety seat experts and is a member of their Project Lifesaver program.

The other deputy selected is Martin Keberlein, who has worked for the sheriff’s office for three years and has prior experience as a police officer for a smaller community. Keberlein is assigned as the sheriff office’s community relations coordinator and is a member of their Project Lifesaver program.

Sheriff Dale Schmidt says both deputies are excellent at helping through problem-oriented and community policing, which is their goal while providing services for Reeseville. Schmidt says they also want to provide consistent faces so the people they serve can develop strong relationships with the deputies assigned to work in their communities. The sheriff encourages the public to reach out and get to know both deputies while they are patrolling in Reeseville.
