(Beaver Dam) The Dodge County Master Gardener Association is holding their monthly meeting at Moraine Park Technical College Thursday.
The meeting will get underway at 6:30 p.m., and the presentation will be focused on Spring Ephemerals presented by Chris Jacobs.
Ephemerals are a sign that spring is on the horizon, and they have a narrow timeframe to bloom, be pollinated and set seed.
Jacobs will be covering the various properties of these wildflowers, why they are important and the most common types around the state of Wisconsin.
Jacobs comes in with a background as a Certified Master Gardener since 2008 and has been an active member, serving as a Board member, over the years.
