7/14/11 – A Dodge County Jail inmate was flown to UW-Hospital in Madison last week after apparently suffering a seizure that caused him to fall down and hit his head. Sheriff Todd Nehls says the Mayville Police Department brought in the 41-year-old after he violated conditions of his bond in another case. Nehls says the following morning the man took a shower, and while he was getting dressed, suffered the seizure. The man was in the jail for 16-hours prior to the incident and Nehls says he did not have any contact with other prisoners. Nehls says they are looking into his medical history and trying to determine where he was before being arrested. The man is currently recovering at the hospital in Madison.
