(Beaver Dam) Several counterfeit $100-dollar bills were passed in the area this week. A local bank reported on Wednesday that they received three bogus Benjamin’s as part of deposits. The businesses that received the phony cash were Dunham’s and AutoZone in Beaver Dam and NAPA in Columbus. The Beaver Dam Piggly Wiggly also reported getting a counterfeit $100. The matter is under investigation. UDPATE: A fake $100 bill was also used at the Waupun Subway restaurant on Thursday afternoon.
