(Fond du Lac) Congressman Glenn Grothman announced recently that his office is now accepting entries for the 2019 Artistic Discovery Competition. The competition is open to all high school students in Wisconsin’s Sixth District, with the winner having his or her artwork displayed in the U.S Capitol for one year in an exhibit that features winners from other congressional districts across the U.S.
Submitted works of art can be up to 26” by 26” x4” including frame, and of mediums such as painting, drawing, collage, print, mixed media, computer generated art, or photography. Entries must be original concepts, design, and execution. All submissions for the 2019 Artistic Discovery Competition must be mailed or delivered to Congressman Grothman’s office in Fond du Lac by April 15th of this year.
