The Columbus School Board has ratified a two year contract with the Columbus Education Association (CEA). According to Superintendent Marc Jansen the state and national economy had an effect on the final contract figures. The 3 point 8 total package settlement was very near the “just under 4 %” settlement figures at other Districts in the area. The 2009 to 2011 CEA contract was approved shortly after final deliberations were concluded before last night’s School Board meeting.
