(Columbus) There is a new kayak rental kiosk at Rotary Park in Columbus. The kiosk, operated by Rent.fun, offers residents and visitors an easy and enjoyable way to explore the Crawfish River and the area surrounding Rotary Park.
Rent.fun operates more than 100 locations across the U.S., offering rentals for kayaks, paddleboards, lawn games, and beach wheelchairs. With a convenient, app-based system, users can rent equipment directly from their smartphones.
Rentals are available by the hour, or users can select from a variety of membership plans for extended or frequent use. Mayor Joe Hammer says the rental kiosk represents another exciting step in enhancing the outdoor experiences available in Columbus. He adds that it is a wonderful partnership between the Rotary Club and the Tourism Commission.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate this new attraction will take place this Saturday at 9:30am at Rotary Park. The public is welcome to attend.
