7/14/11 – The Columbus Council heard a summary of the Titus Energy Management Services utility merger assessment at a special joint meeting Tuesday night. Titus has been studying possibilities of a merger between the Columbus Sewer Utility and Water & Light. Reportedly, recent actions by the City Council and Water & Light have improved communications between two bodies. No immediate merger action or utility changes are being planned at this time due the pending retirement of long-time Water and Light superintendent John Andler.
