The Columbus High School football team (11-0) hosts Ellsworth tonight in a WIAA Division Four State Quarterfinal. You can watch the game on DailyDodge TV and hear it on 95.3 WBEV.
Columbus rolled into the state quarterfinals with a 55-24 win over Baldwin Woodville. Colton Brunell ran for 5 TDs in the win.
Ellsworth downed St. Croix Central 28-13 in their 2nd round matchup. The Panthers are 10-1 on the season with their only loss coming 22-8 @ New Richmond on August 26th. They are champions of the Middle Boarder Conferenc with a perfect 7-0 record. Ellsworth was the 2021 Division 4 state runner-up, losing the title game to Catholic Memorial 21-12 at Camp Randall.
Friday night’s game kicks off at 7pm. The John Deere Pregame Show is set for 6:30pm. Mike Throndsen and Tim Haldiman will have the call.
