(Columbus) The Columbus Area Historical Society is inviting the public to their Chili and Soup Luncheon this weekend. The event will feature all-you-can-eat chili, a wide variety of delicious homemade soups, sweet treats and beverages. There will also be a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. Attendees will hear from Columbus Fire Chief Randy Koehn who will give a history presentation on the area’s fire department. The presentation begins at 1pm. The Chili and Soup Luncheon will be held at the Columbus United Methodist Church on Sunday (February 23), serving begins at 11:30am. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for kids 10 and under at the door. Advanced sales will run $8 for adults and $3 for kids. Tickets are available at Forward Pharmacy, Beck and Becker Family Dentistry and from any CAHS member. All proceeds support the mission of the Columbus Area Historical Society.
