3/15/12 – Columbus and Fall River are nearing the completion of the multi-million dollar wastewater regionalization project. The force main pipe line between the City and Village has been installed and satisfactorily tested. The Village Lift Station is 95 per cent complete and tests are underway on the pumping equipment. March 28th is the expected date for sewage flow to Columbus to begin. Both Columbus and Fall River will be planning ceremonies celebrating the multi-year project that joins the two wastewater collection systems.
