Columbia County Health Offering COVID Walk-In Vaccine Clinic Thursday

(Portage) The Columbia County Health Department will be hosting a free walk-in COVID vaccine clinic tomorrow (Thursday). County health officials say the clinic will be for a first dose Pfizer shot, available for ages 12-and-up, and a second dose Moderna shot. Appointments are not necessary to receive the vaccine but people can schedule a time online. Those interested in going must stay on site for a 15-minute observation period after receiving the vaccine. Health officials also ask those in attendance to practice social distancing and wear a mask. The clinic will be at the Columbia County Health and Human Services Building located at 111 East Mullett Street in Portage from 8am to 4pm.
