Columbia County Health Hosting Vaccine Clinic And Test Site Saturday

(Pardeeville) The Columbia County Health Department will be hosting a free walk-in COVID vaccine clinic and test site tomorrow. County health officials say the clinic will be for the one-and-done Johnson and Johnson shot as well as the Pfizer vaccine. The clinic will also offer drive through COVID nasal swab testing. The J and J vaccine is only offered to those 18 and older while the Pfizer is available to those 12 and up. Anyone under the age of 18 needs a parent or guardian’s consent. Appointments are not necessary to receive the vaccine but people can schedule ahead of time. In order to save time, health officials encourage the public to register for a COVID test beforehand. Those who got a vaccine shot must stay on site for a 15-minute observation period. Health officials also ask those in attendance to practice social distancing and wear a mask. The clinic will be at the Pardeeville Fire Station on 110 Third Street from 10am to 2pm Saturday (October 9th).
