(Cambria) The Columbia County Health Department will be hosting several upcoming drive through COVID testing sites and vaccine clinics at the Cambria Fire Station. The clinics will offer the Pfizer and the one-and-one Johnson and Johnson vaccine. The J and J vaccine is only available for those 18 and older while Pfizer shots are offered to those 12 and up. Those under 18 most have parental or guardian consent. Health officials also ask those interested in vaccine shots to stay on site for a 15-minute observation period. The free nasal swab testing is open to the community. In an effort to save time, health officials encourage online registration. Although, pre-registration is not required to get tested. Staff on site will assist in the registration process. Due to unknown interest, those going should prepare for potential wait times. Health officials ask those in vehicles or horse drawn buggies form a line and stay in their mode of transportation at all times. The National Guard will be doing the testing, they will be in uniform and full personal protective equipment. Those tested will be contacted with their results within three to seven business days. The testing site and vaccine clinic will be located at the Cambria Fire Station at 702 Elizabeth Street. Dates include tomorrow (October 30), November 20, and December 4 from 10am to 2pm.
