(Waupun) The city of Waupun will be hosting a public information meeting to present a preliminary engineering plan for the proposed improvements to Madison Street, within the city of Waupun Wisconsin. The public informational meeting will be held at the Waupun City Hall building on Thursday June 20th from 5:30 to 7pm and include a brief presentation. The projected work begins at Doty street and extends north to Lincoln street, with additional utility work and sidewalk construction possible from the Waupun Utilities facility located south of Libby Street to Dotty Street. The overall project consists of reconstructing the existing roadway including curb and gutter, bike lanes, sidewalks, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water main, with driveways, service walks, and lawn areas being removed and replaced as necessary to accommodate the construction project.
Representatives from the city of Waupun and design consultant Gremmer and Associates Inc, will be on hand to explain the proposed improvements.
