(Beaver Dam) Starting Thursday (January 2) and continuing throughout the month of January, City of Beaver Dam residents that receive contracted solid waste collection services from the city, may place Christmas trees and boughs to the curb for collection by city crews.
The city will not collect trees that are in a bag or have ornaments, lights, and stands still attached. City of Beaver Dam residents may also dispose of Christmas trees and boughs at the yard waste drop-off site, located at 205 W South Street, Monday through Friday, between 7:00am and 7:00pm. No waste of any kind is accepted from outside of the city or from any contractors. Wreaths and boughs containing roping or wire may be placed in your nonrecyclable cart for collection as garbage by the City’s waste collection contractor.
No wreaths or boughs containing roping will be accepted at the Public Works garage drop-off site.
