City of Beaver Dam Awarded More Grant Money For Downtown Demolition Project

(Beaver Dam) The city of Beaver Dam has been awarded even more money for their downtown demolition project. Mayor Tom Kennedy says that the DNR has informed him that that the city’s application for the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Grant has been selected. Kennedy says up to $412,500 will be used to pay for the acquisition of ten downtown buildings that were torn down this summer. The city was previously awarded $3.7 million for the downtown renovation project in June.
