Just a cute boy looking for a second Chance!

He is a 4 year old Chow mix.
Chance was surrendered to the Dodge County Humane Society due to being a little to protective of their grandchild. All he would do is bark at people as they were passing the house when she was over. He was not protective of the older grandchildren only the one he has known since she was born.
Chance arrived in his old owners life as a stray. He was microchipped but it wasn’t registered and nobody ever claimed him.
Chance is very friendly otherwise. He can be a bit weary of strangers as first but fine with proper introduction. He is fully crate trained and walks well on leash.
Chance has been living either in the garage or shed but is believed to be fully house trained. He is an energetic dog who would flourish in a home that can provide him with a space where he can let all of his energy out.
Chance lived with a golden doodle and loved to play and snuggle up with them. He likes to chase cats but has yet to actually harm one. If your cats don’t mind a game of cat and mouse he should be fine.

You can visit Chance at the Dodge County Humane Society any Tuesday or Thursday from 12-7. As well as Saturdays from 12-4.

The Pet of the Week is brought to you by the BDCH Foundation.
