After a successful alternate fall football season this spring at Columbus, Calvin Zenz has accepted the head coaching position at Reedsburg.
During his four seasons at Columbus the Cardinals were 14-20 but went 11-5 over the last two seasons, including a 5-1 mark during this spring’s alternate fall season. The Cardinals ended up ranked #9 in the final wissports.net Medium School Coaches Poll.
Reedsburg went 2-5 competing in the traditional season this past fall. Zenz replaces Quinn Hobbs and Mike Riberich were hired as interim co-head coaches last summer. Brian Pottinger stepped down after the 2019 season after 14 seasons that included a 2009 WIAA Division 3 state championship.
