Cash Bond Set At $5K For Phillips Man Accused Of Fleeing Dodge County Deputies

(Beaver Dam) Cash bond was set at $5,000 Tuesday for a Price County man charged in connection to a 41-mile-long pursuit with Dodge County law enforcement. Aaron Reichenberger of Phillips is facing a felony count of Fleeing. A sheriff’s deputy clocked a white SUV speeding on Highway 151 near the Town of Beaver Dam in May of 2020. The deputy initiated a traffic stop but as he approached the vehicle it sped away. Multiple deputies along with two units from the Beaver Dam Police Department joined the pursuit as it continued along Highway DE, Highway G, Hickory Point Road, Highway D, and State Highway 73. Attempts to lay down spike strips were unsuccessful and about 25 minutes after the chase began it was called off. Authorities learned that the vehicle was owned by Enterprise and was allegedly rented to Reichenberger. According to the criminal complaint, Reichenberger had felony warrants in Wisconsin and possibly one out-of-state warrant for Fleeing. If convicted, the 37-year-old faces no more than three-and-a-half-years in prison. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for January 6.
