Cash Bond Set At $100K For Markesan Man Charged With Armed Robbery

(Markesan) Cash bond has been set at $100-thousand for a Markesan man suspected of the armed robbery at Ted’s Piggly Wiggly in Markesan. Tyrone Emig Jr. made his initial appearance in a Green Lake County courtroom Tuesday. The 61-year-old is charged with one felony count of Armed Robbery as a Repeat Offender from the September 27th incident. Emig Jr. allegedly approached the checkout, pointed to what appeared to be a handgun in the waistband of his pants and demanded money before fleeing the scene on foot. Security cameras captured the suspect wearing a surgical mask and sunglasses during the robbery.
