CAROL A. KUENZI
Carol A. Kuenzi, age 78 of Beaver Dam, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. She is now reunited with her husband Frank in God’s loving arms.

Carol Ann, daughter of Stanley and Mary (Glodowski) Brzezinski, was born on December 4, 1938, the first girl born at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Beaver Dam. She graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1957. On February 24, 1962 she was united in marriage to Frank H. Kuenzi at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. Carol worked as a bookkeeper for Malleable Iron Range Co. for 6-1/2 years before staying home for several years to care for their three children. She later worked at Woolco and Copps before retiring from Wal-Mart, where she worked as a cashier and customer service manager for 18 years. A member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Beaver Dam, Carol was involved with the Catholic Women Society and served as secretary, treasurer and on the funeral dinner committee. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, knitting, crocheting, playing bingo and traveling.

Carol will be deeply missed by her children, Russell (Joan) Kuenzi of St. Louis Park, MN, Deborah (Charles) Fischer of Beaver Dam and Patricia (Kevin) Kittleson of Beaver Dam; grandchildren, Dana Kuenzi of St. Louis Park, Emily (Brett) Horne of Sheboygan, Matthew Fischer (Angela Bock) of Madison, Kyle Kittleson of Stevens Point and Annika Kittleson of Beaver Dam; brother, Timothy (Loni) Brzezinski; sisters-in-law, Celine Brzezinski and Helen Keil and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and family pets, Lucy, Tucker and Maggie.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 2016; brother, Thomas Brzezinski; and brother-in-law, David Kuenzi.

Visitation for Carol will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Fr. Mike Erwin will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery, town of Beaver Dam followed by a luncheon back at Cornerstone.
