Capitol & Eastern Suburban Conference Football Update

The Capitol Football Conference Commissioner Jeff Giese released an update on the status of fall football for teams in that league and also the new Eastern Suburban Conference.   Giese reports that Horicon/Hustisford, Lake Mills, Lakeside Lutheran, and Watertown Luther Prep will participate during the fall season in the Capitol.   Big Foot, Columbus, Lodi, and Beloit Turner are opting for the spring season option.

Giese reports that the Eastern Suburban Football Conference meeting that had been scheduled for today (Friday) has been postponed until Tuesday.  He says that the only school in that league that has officially opt-out of the fall season so far is Clinton.  So at this point, Cambridge, Dodgeland, Markesan, Marshall, Palmyra-Eagle, Pardeeville and Waterloo are still committed to play in the fall.

Football practices is set to begin on September 7th with the first games on September 25th.
