(Campbellsport) The Campbellsport man charged with allegedly trying to kill his fiancée is heading to trial. James Allen was recently in a Fond du Lac County courtroom for a preliminary hearing. Charges stem from an incident in late March while the couple was on their way home from a night out at restaurant and two bars. The victim told investigators she felt Allen planned the attack and was looking forward to killing her. She was stabbed three times in the neck. The 33-year-old is being held in the Fond du Lac County Jail on a $500-thousand dollar cash bond.
