2/17/17 – A Burnett man was convicted this week of breaking into a Beaver Dam apartment. Keaton Koch pled “no contest” to felony Burglary and two misdemeanors were dismissed but read into the record. The 30-year-old broke into an apartment in November 2015 and stole clothes, shoes, an mp3 player, and a video game system. Koch made calls on the home phone of the residence he broke into, asking various friends to pick him up down the block. Earlier that day, Koch fled on foot from an officer who was trying to stop him for an outstanding warrant which resulted in an Obstruction charge that was dismissed. A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered and a hearing is on the calendar in May.
