Brunell Leads Area Players On WFCA All-State Team

The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association has released their 2023 All-State Football Teams.

Columbus’ Colton Brunell leads the area honorees being named the Small School Offensive Player of the Year along with All-State picks at Running Back and Inside Linebacker.  Columbus defensive back Brady Link also received an All-State nod.

Local players earning Honorable Mention Small School All-State include; Marhsall offensive lineman Peyton Gundelach and Mayville defensive lineman Cole Legas.

In 8-Player Football, Oakfield’s Baily Schepp was a 1st team All-State pick at outside linebacker.  Oaks earning Honorable Mention All-State include; offensive lineman Lincoln Laabs, running back Hunter Sabel, and defensive lineman Alex Erber.

Wissports.net was the first to report the 2023 All-State Team.
