Bond Set At $10k For Beaver Dam Man Accused Of First-Degree Sexual Assault Of A Child

(Beaver Dam) Cash bond was set at $10,000 for a Beaver Dam man accused of assaulting a minor. Salomon Barrera is facing felony charges of First-Degree Child Sexual Assault and Repeated Sexual Assault of the Same Child.

The victim’s mother came forward last week, May 12th, and alleged Barrera made inappropriate contact with her daughter about two years ago. The victim, who was approximately nine or 10-years-old at the time, reportedly said Barrera touched her on several occasions.

According to the criminal complaint, Barrera admitted to the illegal touching but said nothing more happened.

If convicted, the 24-year-old faces up to 120 years in prison. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for this Thursday, May 19th.
