The Beaver Dam High School softball team improved to 4-0 on the season with a 5-2 win over Sauk Prairie on Tuesday night at the BDHS Diamond.
The Golden Beavers struck for four runs in the bottom of the first highlighted by a two-run homer off the bat of sophomore Audriana Edwards. Carlee Lapen also homered for BDHS. Ginny Bryant scored a run and collected a pair of hits including a triple. Liv DiStefano doubled and scored a run, while Haley Allen singled three times in the win.
In the circle, Edwards gave up just three hits and fanned 11 Sauk Prairie hitters to earn the win.
The Golden Beavers will host Mount Horeb on Friday night in a game that was origionally scheduled as a road contest. The first pitch is set for 5pm.
