Beaver Dam football historian Steve Kuenzi tells 1430 ESPN that Watertown leads the all-time series 56-40 with three ties.  The Golden Beavers and Goslings have played every season since 1941, except 2019 and 2020 when they were separated in the Badger Conference.   Watertown was victorious 28-7 in the first ever meeting between the schools in 1904.

Beaver Dam (Overall: 0-5 Badger Large: 0-3) tries to rebound from another hard luck 33-30 loss at Milton last week.  Junior Camron Mendoza has run for a team leading 662 yards and six touchdowns.

Watertown (Overall: 0-5. Badger Large: 0-3) hosts the Golden Beavers still looking for their first win of the season after a 70-13 defeat at the hands of #1 ranked Waunakee. QB Reece Kamrath has throw for 1089 yards and 10 TDS this season.  Wideout Zach Scher hauled in 23 passes for 557 yards and 6 TDs so far in 2022.

These teams last met on September 11th, 2021 when Watertown won a wild 49-41 shootout on their home field.  The Goslings Taylor Walter ran for 236 yards and 5 touchdowns to pace Watertown.  Cam Mendoza tossed 4 TD passes, all to Alex Soto who racked up 245 receiving yards on ten catches.
