(Beaver Dam) Community members are invited to attend Beaver Dam’s Shamrock’n Bar Crawl this weekend. It’s taking place on Saturday, March 16th, from 3pm to 11pm.
Beaver Dam Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Tracy Propst said there will be a free shuttle for attendees provided by Johnny’s Lounge. “It is a free shuttle and it stops at Dragon’s Den Lounge, Thirsty Beaver, Johnny’s Lounge, Topper’s Tap, and then the 200 block of Front Street, Riverfront Wine Bar, and also Charlie Brown’s. So it’s getting around town here.”
Those who take the shuttle will also get green beads with the ride. The participating bars include: Thirsty Beaver, Johnny’s Lounge. Dragon’s Den Lounge, Stormy’s, Ooga Brewing Company, Damsels, Palenque Mexican Bar and Grill, Topper’s Tap, The Dam Tavern, Charlie Browns, Riverfront Wine Bar.
There will also be a pair of contests throughout the day for bar crawl participants, the “Chase the Leprechaun Challenge” and the “Make a Scene in Green Costume Contest.” Leprechaun’s will be hidden at each of the participating locations. Participants can pick up a game card at one of the locations and mark where you found each leprechaun. On Tuesday, March 21, prize winners will be drawn.
For the costume contest, participants are invited to wear their best St. Patrick’s Day festive costume and snap a photo between 5-8pm at Dragon’s Den Lounge. Winners will be announced on Tuesday. More information about the Shamrock’n Bar Crawl can be found HERE.
