(Beaver Dam) National Night Out is set to return to Beaver Dam Tuesday night. The community-building event focuses on crime prevention and awareness as well as enhancing the relationship between the community and law enforcement.
Forty-five non-profit groups that provide a wide range of services will be at the event and will share information about their organizations with those in attendance. Some of the groups who will be at National Night Out in Beaver Dam include Bridges of Dodge County, Church Health Services, 5-Stones Dodge County, Habitat for Humanity Restore, and PAVE.
Beaver Dam’s National Night Out will be held at Swan City Park tonight from 5pm to 8pm. There is no fee to enter but organizers ask visitors to bring a non-perishable food item to donate. Mayville’s National Night Out will take place at Foster Park at the same time as Beaver Dam’s, in Columbus it will be at Fireman’s Park from 5:30 to 8pm, in Juneau it will be at the Public Safety Building from 5pm to 8, and Horicon’s at River Bend Park from 4pm to 7pm.
