Beaver Dam Women’s Health Launches Community Food Drive

(Beaver Dam) In an effort to help the Beaver Dam Community Food Pantry stock its shelves this holiday season, the Beaver Dam Women’s Health organization is collecting non perishable food items.  Residents in the area are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the BDWH from now through December 21st.  Co-Founder of Beaver Dam Women’s Health, Mary Ostermann says that “While many in our community have plenty, there are still many families and individuals in need.  Our local food pantries do so much to help residents, and they need our support to continue feeding our hungry neighbors.”  She says if we come together with contributions, we can make a big difference.  The organizations goal is to be able to feed hundreds of local families over the next few weeks.

Some of the items in high demand this season include, ramen noodles, pastas, boxed meals like hamburger helper and macaroni and cheese, as well as cereals.  This year generous residents can also purchase non-perishable food items online via their retailer of choice and have it shipped directly to Beaver Dam Women’s Health.  The address to ship donations is listed below.
